Away Consulting

AWAY Consulting was formed in 2008 and since then has offered claims management and assessing services to a few Insurance Companies. The purpose was to utilise many years of experience in the banking, short term insurance and related industries to provide a service to Insurance Companies as well as Loss Adjusting companies.

In addition, AWAY Consulting has branched out and offers Business Consulting as well as Administrative and System Support to small businesses. This has grown out of a need to help small businesses and to share many years of experience.

Insurance Claims Assessing

Pride is taken on being accessible and being able to resolve problems as and when they arise. A number of awards have been received for best assessor, staff recognition awards for service and for providing exceptional client service.

Administrative and System Support to Small Businesses

We will meet with you to analyse your business to see what areas need attention. The level of support needed can then be identified and a plan approved. Thsi includes administrative processes as well as system identification, implementation and support

Ethos and Methodology

Client and Insurer service is critical and the following process is followed:

  • On notification of a claim, the client is contacted immediately and an appointment time arranged as soon as possible and if necessary, after hours or on weekends to fit in with the client

  • The client is visited and the claim assessed

  • The report is done as soon as viable and the report sent to the Insurer

  • Service Providers are appointed according to the Insurers panel and then quotes obtained.
    If the contractors have already been appointed, then they are liaised with on the claim.

  • Quotes are reviewed and submitted to the Insurer for approval

  • Once authorisation is obtained, the claim is managed together with the client and the Service Providers and all queries/concerns addressed.
